Apex Public school was and is the brain child of Late Mr. A.M Jonathan, founder Principal; and Educationist established on July, 29, 1985. It is an unaided Christian minority institution run by the J.C.E Society registered Apex Public School 10+2, is recognized by the Directorate of Education and is affiliated to the C.B.S.E.
It is co-educational and the mental, physical, moral and social growth of children is its main aim. This development is given direction by the PRINCIPAL AND STAFF.
It is the first day – boarding school of Delhi in 4 acres of pollution free land….
Besides curricular activities, the games field and courts are used to inculcate team spirit, fraternity and physical well-being.

OUR FOUNDER PRINCIPAL
The Fountain-Head of Inspiration
Mr. Anthony M. Jonathan, M.A.T.T.C (Born On January 25th, 1949 at Dehu Road, Pune, Maharashtra), the Founder Principal of this institution was the main architect behind all the educational, cultural and sports activities of Apex Public School. He combined in himself the brilliant military traditions of his revered father and the dedicated teaching traditions of his loving mother . He was blessed with an academically oriented and talented wife who streamlines the curriculum of the institution.
With his distinguished academic background Mr. Anthony Jonathan had twenty years’ experience as a teacher. He had the privilege to server the reputed St. Joseph’s College, Allahabad, in his capacity as the head of both its English and History Departments. At that time he was also a house master entrusted with the onerous duties of catering to all the educational needs of the students as also of supervising and rendering expert advice on matters pertaining to games. The Hostel students were also under his care. Mr. Anthony Jonathan was also in charge of training of the school boxing and gymnastic teams at St. Joseph’s College. Allahabad, as well as St. Francis’ College, Lucknow.
Mr. Anthony Jonathan was a trained N.C.C. Officer. At the Officer’s Training School, INS Venduruthy, in 1975 he stood third in the merit list of All-India basis. He was actually the first officer Commanding Troop No. 1, 3 U.P Naval Battalion. It was significant to note that out of the five cadets selected after keen competition to represent the state of Uttar Pradesh at the Republic Day Parade, New Delhi, in 1975, four were chosen from this particular troop commanded by Mr. Anthony Jonathan. Three out of these four cadets carried away three out of a total of five all-India level Naval prizes. Mr. Anthony Jonathan subsequently vacated the post as principal of St. Michael’s Grammar School, Sahibabad, Delhi, which he resigned to establish this institution.
The Apex Public School was established by Mr. Anthony M Jonathan on July 29, 1985 using his wisdom, Knowledge and experience. Within such a short span of time it had built up several facilities including a laboratory, a library, two tennis courts, two throw ball/ volley ball courts, one basketball court ( All hard courts) and extensive clay/ Grass courts/fields for games and track events.
Mr. Anthony Jonathan had also distinguished himself as an author of books of considerable educational significance. He had the following books to his credit
I.C.S.E. Civics Work Book.
Civics for Secondary Classes.
Essay Writing- Stales an Essaylets ( for classes X to XII)
He had also revised and Modulated the Civics Text Books for classes III to X published by the Inter- University Press.
Under his guidance Apex Public School represented Delhi at the Republic Day Parade twice ( Marching & Ghasyari Dance from Uttaranchal).
For his unending hard work and innovations, Mr. Anthony Jonathan received the National award for outstanding work in the field of education.
Mr. Anthony Jonathan passed away on 25th December 1997 at the young age of 49. He still is an inspiration for all staff of this institution and is with us every day in spirit.

Apex has always attempted to provide true education : intelligence plus character with the emphasis on character. We are here to teach you where to look but what you see is left to you to discover.
Ex-Apexian are shining stars and dotted in every part of the globe. I personally am proud on them. Apexians are fighters and courageous. They are tough, as well as, socially and morally sound. This is due to our teacher-parent coordination in moulding the pliable clay into an exquisite piece of art : an ideal Indian . I trust that parents and teachers will continue to work hand in hand.
My ex students are working to improve the link between the school, parents and the alumini. This attempt has my blessings and gratitude.
The present student must be open to imbibing knowledge, as well as, absorbing cultural values and ‘Indianism’. Each one can make an attempt, nothing is impossible, the word itself says I’m possible.
From J.H. Pestalozzi and J.J Rousseau has originated the whole child approach that focuses on the head, heart and hands.
We at Apex try to follow the learned educationist and our own Gandhi ji and Rabindranath Tagore by providing the natural environment condusive to the development of the “Whole man”

Greetings and welcome to Apex Public School.As our name suggests, we are a school that believes in aiming for the top. Aiming for the zenith does not imply only academic results but the holistic development of all the children under our care. We provide a home ground for students to develop skills and values and the right attitude towards each other, their teachers, their school and the environment around them.
Our school follows the CBSE curriculum and can boast of a well-qualified, dedicated and enthusiastic faculty. Our teachers focus on monitoring and mentoring every child to identify their strengths and shortcomings and spare no effort in making the educational experience of our students meaningful while also preparing them for the challenges of the future world.
We are now into our thirty-second year of existence and have an alumni that we are all proud of. Our students have passed out from this prestigious institution to become music directors, eminent lawyers, doctors, police officials, politicians and CEOs of companies. Our doors are always open to them whenever they wish to visit their alma mater.
Apex Public School has well-equipped science and computer laboratories, two basketball courts, a badminton court, a volleyball court, net practice facility for cricket and a sprawling and well maintained cricket ground. It also has a dance room, music room, art and craft room and separate labs for Maths, English, Hindi and Social Science. Also all classrooms have smart boards installed so as to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
